L2TP on 13.1

Hi all,

Has anyone got L2TP vpn working on 13.1? I installed 13.1 with KDE (since there doesn’t seem to be any NetworkManager L2TP support in Gnome) in a VM, installed plasma-nm-l2tp and xl2tpd, then configured a L2TP (with IPSec) VPN connection.

I hit connect in Network Manager, and nothing happens. Looking at /var/log/NetworkManager I see:

<warn> connection /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Settings/1 failed to activate: (2) The VPN service ‘org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.l2tp’ was not installed.

Cheers,
KEv.

The same thing in 13.2 and Tumbleweed. I saw somewhere that it could be hidden dependency to openswan… but this package isn’t in official repos. :\

Try adding this Repository to your Zypper (or via Yast)

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/hillwood/openSUSE_13.2/

it works for me
