KWin Desktop FX config file

Hello !
I’m using 11.1 and KDE 4 with Desktop FX for the first time. Since I’ve been playing with the settings, I changed the rendering mode to “Régressive” which had caused the WM to crash.
Now I can’t go back to “Texture from Image”, and I don’t know why…

Looking thouroughly lost on the web for the config file I don’t know the name, I found that it is KWin config file (.kde4/share/config/kwinrc). But WHAT VALUE for GLMODE – it’s set to “Fallback” and I want Texture ???>:)

switched to root and enabled desktop effects back I read to root’s kwinrc and these are the 3 values for


[Compositing]
...
GLMODE=Fallback or SHM or TFP
...

TFP for Texture from Picture and SHM for Shared Memory
