ktts text to speech converter

I installed it from yast. How do you use it for a text editor document or an openoffice file? I can’t make any sense of it. Thanks.

I used the “kttsd --help”.

i bet you can make more sense out of:

http://accessibility.kde.org/developer/kttsd/

and the handbook referenced therein, at http://tinyurl.com/5qfzkz

let us know how it works out…i’m kinda interested in having my box read
bedtime stories to me when i get old…

I’m constantly reading text to catch errors, like everyone else. It’s look like i’ll just have to wait for open office to support ktts. For now, i’ll try to make sense of it.
