Ktorrent problem

Hello

When I start KTorrent, it closes unexpectedly. I tried it from command line and got the following message:

<unknown program name>(4413)/: KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server

<unknown program name>(4412)/: KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly.

Please suggest.

$ dbus-launch ktorrent

dbus-launch shows command not found. I tried it in root too but the result is the same. The man page exists but the error message tells that the command is not found.

So which repo is this from
Mine actually is from kde4 Factory Desktop

But Otherwise I suggest you use Packman ver.

Have you tried running from kde4 or are you doing?

I have tried mine from both kde3 and 4
and it’s fine

Some info:
KUniqueApplication class Reference (kdecore Library)

Just a though: Make sure there are no instances of ktorrent running already

I am trying from kde3. There are no instances of ktorrent running.
