Krunner dead in Plasma 6.8.2

For roughly the past month, krunner in Tumbleweed works once after log-in, then dies. If I then run it in a shell, I get:

$ krunner
QThreadStorage: Thread 0x564fbb45a820 exited after QThreadStorage 8 destroyed
QThreadStorage: Thread 0x564fbb45a820 exited after QThreadStorage 4 destroyed
QThreadStorage: Thread 0x564fbb45a820 exited after QThreadStorage 3 destroyed

or something similar.

A KDE message thread (https://discuss.kde.org/t/krunner-qthreadstorage-thread-0x613719c95030-exited-after-qthreadstorage-8-destroyed/29223) says that this is a known bug, fixed in 6.8.3. My Tumbleweed 20250324 is at Qt 6.8.2.

Waiting for 6.8.3 may be the easiest solution. Can someone tell me where to look at opensuse.org to see where 6.8.3 is in the development cycle, if it’s going to be coming to a Tumbleweed snapshot soon? I miss krunner!

I filed a bug report on March 4 ( https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1238456 ) but didn’t receive a response. Hence, this post.

@Tuner I’m assuming this https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/KDE:Qt6/qt6-base in your thread title should that be 6.3.3 as that’s what plasma6-workspace is at which provides krunner?

Normally this would get branched by someone to update, so keep an eye out on the 'Derived Packages" link to see if someone is working on an update.

Thanks, Malcolm. I bookmarked the link, will keep an eager eye on derived packages.
