krdc config in 10.3

I’m asked to fill in a window which begins

vnc:///

and has the prompt

vncserver:1 -----1
(host:port/screen) -----2

The other machine has tightvnc
I know its IP address and port number
but all my entries gve back a terse

“The form of your address is incorrect”

So what do I need to know? How do I interpret lines 1 & 2?

Are you using krdc or another client? Anyway the client expects the port,5900 for the first screen, or the number of the screen starting from 0 (zero). So try the both separing the address and one of there numbers with ’ : '. Eg. :192.168.1.1:0 or 5900. Hope i really understood the problem
