Kpdf doesn't print top of page

I’m trying to print some pdf files with virtually no margins.

The printer doesn’t print the top of the page. About 1/8 inch of the sides is missing too, but this isn’t a problem.

Openoffice.org files print OK, but all of them have at least a .5 inch margin.

Problem solved.

I downloaded acroreader. Not a pure solution since acroreader isn’t opensource. Nevertheless, it works. I need to get those bills out to generate some revenue. If anyone has any ideas for getting Kpdf to work I’m still interested.

This may be a very old problem. Laser printers do not print to the edge of the page and many inkjet printers are built on the same principle. Obviously it is possible to resize a page marginally before sending it to printer to ensure that it fits within the printable space.

So one possibility is that KPDF prints what it is told to and does not make any adjustments.
