Kopete sadness

Ok ok, so as testing programs and daily use goes on I’m finding little things here and there that no longer work, as any that have read my previous threads can attest. Now my sadness is Kopete. I can log into my MSN account, it shows me correctly online/offline people, however, when I try to communicate with one, it crashes Kopete! no message, no sorry, just gone :’( any ideas would be helpful, or is it just a broken program?

titanicx, i can concur that that is very sad. i hate it when that happens to me. Sorry man :frowning: p.s. i have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about!! (i use xchat 2.8.6)

When I have an app that isn’t working first I try to get it fixed, then I
experiment with others and test my fav as new releases come out. If the
problem gets fixed and I still prefer the old app I go back to it. I
figure by this behavior it behooves the dev’s to get it right the first
time lest they lose userbase from people ‘trying’ something else.

I like Kopete as well, Pidgin is quite nice also.
