Kopete crashes at start

Hi,

Kopete worked ok yesterday : talking to skype contacts through kopete.Today Kopete does not start anymore :frowning:

Do you know why kopete crashes at start ?
i’m using kde 4.3.3 and last kopete,
plus kde4-kopete-protocol-skype svn936483-1.61
and kopete-protocol-facebook

Do you know Which Qt is needed for kde 4.3.3 ?

I can’t say You much about the problem.
Anyway, posted stack-trace says that Skype plugin crashes. So, reinstall/upgrade or just remove the plugin until the problem is solved :wink:

Or just wait for another reply. I hope somebody can help You solve this.

Kopete still crashes after i remove kde4-protocol-skype :expressionless:

I had the same issue (with 4.3.1) and also removed that package, and it still crashed.

I don’t remember exactly how I fixed it, maybe it was by editing the file “~/.kde4/share/config/kopeterc” and removing the skype account. After this problem I didn’t use the plugin any more.
