kopete don’t let me do it, if I edit

It should with drag’n’drop. Drag the contact a drop it over the group.
Editing ~/.kde4/share/apps/kopete/contactlist.xml should also work, if
Kopete is not running, but becareful with this option. (Keep a backup of the
file!)

I can’t drag’n’drop one contact, for an unknown reason kopete don’t let
me move it

When kopete connect it delete the file and recreate it

Hm, the problem is probably that it downloads the contact
list from your account and ignores the one in the contactlist.xml.
Which
protocol do you use?
