Problem:
I need to configure the sending agent for kmail to be a SMTP server and Knode
an imap server. However, if I set up kmail to use the SMTP server then Knode
is also set to the same server. If I setup Knode to use the imap server it
carries over to kmail. Is there a way to set two different sending agents.
This is not a problem with KDE3.5.x.

Uwe;
For some perverse reason, the ISP requires that out going mail pass through
their SMTP server. If you try to use the imap server it times out. We are
required to authenticate in order to send mail, and my guess is that their
imap server is not configured to support authentication. Conversely nntp
requires the use of the imap server.
