[Kontact] Distribution lists and kmail

I upgraded to openSuSE 11.3, which is really great.

Only one thing is not working, and that’s the use of distribution lists, saved in the address book, to send e-mails to the there listed addresses from kmail. When I click on “Select” for sending the mail to the group, I can choose this group, but it says to contain no addresses, and If I send the mail, the “To field” is resolved to

<name of the group>@<hostname>

In the address book, the group still contains the addresses. Something seems to be wrong with the communication between the address book and kmail. The used versions are

KMail
Version 1.13.5
Using KDE Development Platform 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) “release 2”

KAddressBook
Version 4.4.5
Using KDE Development Platform 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) “release 2”

Is there some upgrade for this, which I’ve overlooked? Thanks!

PS: This issue occurs in both the 64-bit and the 32-bit version of OS 11.3, which I have installed on two different laptops.

What I’ve done and it worked in RC2 but not
the released version of 11.3. Select new
message, select who you want in your
Distribution list, the use save list and name
it. this used to work, now I get a list thats
says 37 addresses, but distplaying it just
shows blank cards. and does what you
described above.

distribution lists have been a problem since
Kmail and akonadi started playing together. I
have found no way to create a distribution
list in Contacts, and no way in Kmail to
delete one once created (wrong). I manually
go in .local–> share → contacts and delete
it there.

Since I need distribution lists for a lot of
what I do, I may drop back to 11.2.
