Konsole xset font error

Hi, Suse 11.4 is fabulous on my laptop (and a range of my other computers). However, one minor issue on my laptop is the Konsole Terminal opening message:

xset: bad font path element (#0), possible causes are:
Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
    Directory missing fonts.dir
Incorrect font server address or syntax

This message is given twice. “xset q” lists the following directories:

Font Path:
/usr/share/fonts/misc:unscaled,/usr/share/fonts/Type1/,/usr/share/fonts/100dpi:unscaled,/usr/share/fonts/75dpi:unscaled,/usr/share/fonts/URW/,/usr/share/fonts/cyrillic:unscaled,/usr/share/fonts/truetype/,built-ins

I have checked these exist, permissions (which are user: root, group:root with others “can view content”), used"xset fp rehash" to refresh the font path, later “xset fp default” to reset the default font path. Also, I have updated all fonts and video drivers. All without success. Would anyone be able to suggest what I might need to look at? Thanks, stuart
BTW To refresh all settings for 11.4 I installed on my laptop using “Installation” rather than “Update”.
