I use suse 11.1 and kde3.5, kde4.2 is installed but I don’t use because I don’t like it, after the last update, in kde 3.5 when I open a folder it opens with konqueror kde4, I don’t like it, I would like konqueror kde3.5 becouse is more beautyful, has a filter utility, work with fish and many others.
How can I manage to use again konqueror kde3.5???

OK. Strange. I updated kde3 very recently and saw one or two file manager icons vanish / broken in the kde4 menu. But I had not bothered to check any. So I just logged out of kde4 to start a kde3 session - I don’t even have a kde3 login avail now. I’ll have to look into this. But I have other stuff to do too so don’t hold your breath.
Go back to Yast - Software Management
Filter by Patterns
And click the kde3-desktop pattern
it should auto mark all missing packages. It did with me. Though I modified mine.

I did, but unsuccessfully, I noted that /opt/kde3/bin/konqueror doesn’t exist and /opt/kde3/lib is empty, and I cannor eject a cd leftclicking the icon doesn’t appear the eject item, could it help??
