Kodak Printer Support openSUSE 12.3 - no compiling!

I’ve seen lengthy installation procedures elsewhere on this board about installing Kodak printer support in openSUSE. But it’s much simpler. First, you must go get the RPM file for the latest version of the drivers here: CUPS driver / SANE backend for kodak Aio - Browse /RPM files at SourceForge.net

Now, simply open the directory in Dolphin, or whatever file browser you use, and open it. openSUSE will ask you if you want to install the package. Accept it and go through the routine of installing the package and whatever it asks for in dependencies. When it finishes, open YaST and go to Printer and click the “Add Printer” button. You’ll notice at the top that it sees your Kodak Printer, but at the bottom it may or may not give you the driver file. My system did not. If not, manually scroll through the drivers and pick out your printer and install it. Voila! Make sure your printer works by making a test print.

I’m sorry I couldn’t give screenshots, as once the printer is installed, what shows up is different than before the printer was configured the first time.
