KNetworkManager LiveCD

Hello everyone.
I have a problem with KNetworkManager, but is a little bit strange .
So if i boot using the live cd, i can scan my wireless networks, and i can connect to.
After i install opensuse , network manager wont work anymore, this means it scans the wireless networs but then keeps asking for wireless password and then just disconects.

Using ifup works.
But my question is … why does it work with LiveCD … and not with the installed system …
Thank you !

Because there are bugs in the installed system. Do an update and they
will be fixed.

If they are bugs on the installed system, then why those bugs are not on live cd ?
Just for my curiosity

I don’t know. The bugs came in very late when some files were moved.
Perhaps the CD’s were mastered before that change happened.

Maybe you messed up the configuration of kWallet with the network manager? I think you need to have a profile in kWallet to manage the passwords in network manager. Sorry I can’t be more of a help…maybe someone else here knows better…but I think it may be something like that…
