Hey.Restarted my machine and now I cant get knetworkmanager to run.
I had uninstalled firefox because it kept crashing after approximately 5 seconds of use. The icon for knetwork manager isn’t there in the system tray nor is it anywhere in the kMenu.
Running rpm -qi NetworkManager in konsole as root returns the message networkmanager isnt installed.
Currently accessing the internet from a windows installation.Any ideas on how I can proceed? Is there anyway to use yast as the network manager?
Any help will be appreciated.
Hi,
the files you need should be:
NetworkMananger
NetworkMananger-glib
NetworkMananger-kde4
NetworkMananger-kde4-lang
NetworkMananger-kde4-libs
libproxy0-networkmanager
I had to delete the kde4 config files (not all only the ones regarding the Networkmanager) of the Networkmanager to make it running
Greetings
Michael
