So im using knetworkmanager with kwallet. In the past i never used it but this time I said yes to the prompt thats asked the first time I set it up thinking it was a more secure way of saving my password. But now since I did that I get prompted by kwallet every time I boot up and my wireless tries to connect. How do I just store my password for kwallet or stop it from prompting me for the password?
The only solution known to me is to use a blank password for kde wallet.
Is there any way to reverse it so it doesn’t use kwallet anymore?
Delete your kwallet profile and config files in hidden folders and files
.kde4/share/apps/kwallet
.kde4/share/config/kwalletmanagerrc
.kde4/share/config/kwalletrc
Also just tell it to stop using kwallet. Right click on knetwork manager and click Manage Connections. Then under the left hand category Other, click the connection secrets tab and choose In file unencrypted.
Take Care,
Ian
Thanks both of these suggestions worked.
