Yesterday I tried switching from the internal MyAQl data base to an
External MySQL database on localhost.
I created a database on localhost version of Mysql. I created a user
called Akonadiuser with same password as the internal version. I van log
on to Mysql/akonadi from command line. I gave the user all privileges on
the database.
Since then the following has happened:
If I try to start akonadi with localhost mysql database I get message
cannot register with D-Bus, nothing starts. Why?
If I use the internal database, Akonadi starts, kontact starts but I
see no emails in kmail 4.7.3 (accounts are set up correctly. Resources
appear correct. There is mail in ~/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail/inbox/new
and /cur.
Usenet(Knode), Calendar and Contacts work.
Akonadi resources under Config → Desktop → personal Information.
Show KMAIL Folders (synchronizing email folder ininbox (100%) Hangs
there.
I know email accounts are Ok since there are same as ones under
seaMonkey and SeaMonkey retrieves mail fine.
Questions?
What creates the tables in the new MySQL database? No tables created.
I assume that may be caused by inability to register with d-bus.

I forgot to add my configuration:
