I’ve installed Suse 11 using KDE4. Things look pretty good so far with the exception of a couple of little problems. When I open kmail, its icon appears in the system tray as the program is loading but disappears when the program is fully loaded and the window appears. I’ve checked the setup, and the put in system tray box is checked as it should be. Other apps work. For example, when I start akregator, it goes to the system tray and sticks like it should.
One other related problem. When I boot up, knetworkmanager appears in the system tray. I’m not using network manager, and when I click on the icon, it tells me so. I then type quit and it goes away. Yet, the next time I boot, there it is again. How do I get rid of it?
