i am using kmail 4.11.5, i have disabled kwallet. when i logined in my system, kmail will prompt to input my imap email server 's password. then after a while, kmail will prompt again, and again, its really annoying me. how can i stop it from prompting me again and again ?

My best wild guess is that you did not use the current password
(passphrase).

My guess would be that you need to enable kwallet so that kmail has a place to store the passwords. Unfortunately I’m not using kmail so can’t test it on my own.

The workaround would be to configure kwallet with a blank password as stated in the above KDE thread.
