KMail - System Tray?

Just setting up new installation 42.2 … KMail configured and working fine … but cannot work out how to make it appear in System Tray when there is unread mail? …

It was always there in 42.1 but i cannot remember if i made it do that or if it was automatic KMail thing??

Any clues??

Thanks

Settings->Appearance->System Tray Settings.

That’s translated from german, it may be labelled slightly different in english… :wink:

Thanks wolfi … ‘slightly’ and i might have got there … but cannot find ‘System Tray Settings’ anywhere

However … in the deep recesses of my mind i have a faint flicker of having been to a place where you can configure the System Tray … but it is a deep recess and i cannot for the love of me get back there !!

It is either ‘Old Age’ or ‘Domestic Blindness’ i would say … neither of which i have much control over sigh

OKAY … i put my glasses on and found where one configures ‘System Tray’ … unlock widgets and right click on System Tray (strange place to put it lol)

However, cannot find any reference to KMail in the options:

and with curiosity i notice that under the Entries tab … DropBox has found its way there (that blip between Keyboard and Audio… but again i cannot see how the user can command it???

OKAY ALREADY … you were referring to the KMail Menu … not the Suse System Menus!!!

So … it is

Open KMail > Settings > Configure KMail > Appearance > System Tray

Doh!!! :open_mouth:
