Since my upgrade from 10.3 to 11.0 + kde 4.1.1 kmail gobbles all blank lines in composed messages that I send. I need to insert at least 1 space to keep the line. Any idea ?
I’ve been having the same problem for some time now. Can’t seem to figure out what is going on. In my case I’m not able to get any blank lines on the message. Even if I insert a space.
Edit: Oops… I was wrong, inserting a space does work for me as well. Thanks for that hint but we shouldn’t have to do that should we?
Thanks, at least I am not alone. It seems that this was already mentioned several years ago. Could it be some setting which would be wrong ? Or a resurfacing old bug ? After the upgrade I had some other problems with kmail and decided to use the ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc from kde3. But could not find anything in it that could explain this problem of vanishing blank lines.
