does the Search collection without the RID have anything to do with kmail not opening new emails from the search menu?
I suspect that, the Search collection without a RID probably doesn’t have anything to do with KMail not opening e-Mail from the search menu.

I dont know what backend i am using and i have upgrade to KDE 6.0.2, eagerly anticipating the 6.1.0 update since it will re-implement certain notification features
