When I answer html mail the original html text is getting changed in plain text.
I have select prefer HMTL.
How can I answer with the original text in html.
I am using opensuse 12.1 x86_64 , Kmail 4.7.4

My understanding is that html support in kmail is incomplete. It is best
to use Thunderbird instead for such emails.

html was improved greatly (although still not as good as thunderbird) in Kmail 4.8.xx
To use go to “configure > kmail composer > use html if present”
As you can see, reply using html in kmail 4.7.xx and earlier does not work.
