Kmail does no longer check for new mail automatically

Kmail automatically checks for new mail and displays number of new mails in the system tray. This does no longer work for one user. When checking by hand new mails are displayed

• the folder properties of the mailaccount.

Moved ./.kde4/share/config/kmail2rc, invoked kmail and inadvertently moved back ./.kde4/share/config/kmail2rc while kmail was running. Got duplicate mailbox and removed one instance. Remaining mailbox now works with automatic mail check.
