Kmail + Bogofilter = always unsure

I switched to Kmail about a month ago and was previously using Thunderbird + Bogofilter. Bogofilter in Thunderbird marked messages as spam fairly reliably.

In Kmail, I set up Bogofilter by using the antispam wizard but it always says 52% probability and Unsure as the status. ALWAYS! Here is an example:

X-Bogosity: Unsure, tests=bogofilter, spamicity=0.520000, version=1.2.4

I’ve been training it for about a month now and it’s still always the same. What am I doing wrong?

Just thought I would update this since I figured out the issue.

The problem was that I had only been marking things as spam. Even though I had marked a TON of stuff as spam it turns out you also need to mark some things as HAM too. While I was playing around with it this weekend I marked a bunch of messages as ham and now the detection is working. Yay!
