So I downloaded the package manually via the KDE Extras repository which I added.
However it still doesn’t seem to be working and I don’t know why.
At one point even without KIO-Admin I think, by making fish my login terminal I could infact get KDE Dolphin to even use the GUI to open as root which was pretty funny. Granted Tumbleweed install exploded as would be expected of making a non-posix shell for the login shell, atleast I think thats what happened I also kept uninstalling undeeded dependencies over and over in Yast.
So wat dou? I would really appreciate being able to use KIO-Admin.
Is it true bug though or some arbitrary security feature I can forcefully remove? Why did fish screwing with the system cause it to cooperate at one point?
And do you have any possible solutions for me? Like a terminal file manager or something whenever I need to manually move stuff about beyond the home directory?
Also unrelated, newest tumbleweed release keeps causing plasma to crash, anyone else having this experience? Just did a roll back and now things are great again. Is moving to slowroll an option in the future?
I am already attached enough to OpenSUSE not to move to something like CachyOS (Atleast untill Hyprland is supported again).
