I’m using opensuse 11.4 and recently updated to KDE 4.7.4(had 4.7.3 before that and of course 4.6 in the beginning). The kickoff menu used to show and hide with the kwin’s “glide” effect. After the update that’s no longer the case. Is there anyway to make this work in the same way?
If I enable the slide effect the launcher behaves the right way and slides. On the other hand the glide effect works fine for normal windows and even for the klipper tool in the tray bar. I tried changing the theme for kickoff several times and nothing changed. I left it to air for now.
And something probably not related but the “blur” effect doesn’t work for me at all. Seems like pretty cool effect and I would like to use it if possible.
