KiCad and Leap 16

I need to use KiCad at work (professionally).
Will Leap 16 still support Xorg or will I be forced to replace Opensuse with e.g. Linux Mint?
I hope not but KiCad & wayland is not an option…

I just did and, to my great relief, it uses Xorg! I couldn’t be happier.
Let’s hope they don’t change their minds at the last moment…
