KF5 Kpeople framework missing in KF 5.8 in lastest snapshot

I could not find the Kpeople Framework in the last recent snapshot. This will be a dependency for ktp5, when Apps 15.04 will be released…

Don’t worry, it is there:

As it only has been accepted to Factory 23 hours ago (it is part of the devel repo, KDE:Frameworks5, since 6 days), it’s of course not part of Tumbleweed yet. But it should be in the next snapshot.

Thanks for that info. I see, I have to get more patient :-). But: ktp5 is the last piece for me to be at 100% in Plasma5 as compared to KDE4

Well, if you cannot/don’t want to wait, you could install the package from KDE:Frameworks5 for now. But the next TW snapshot should get released soon anyway (later today?), unless there are problems.

Regarding ktp5, this is only available in KDE:Unstable:Extra at the moment, because it isn’t released yet.
I’m sure it will be moved to KDE:Extra and Factory/Tumbleweed immediately after the release on April 15th, but it will of course still take a while then until it passes through Factory review and will be available in Tumbleweed.

I think I will wait until it is in Tumbleweed…last time I used the KDE:Frameworks5 factory repo I had some issues with folderview not showing activity-linked files any more. Now, I am glad, that it works with the tumbleweed snapshot :-).
I already use the Unstable:Extra repo for the not yet released apps. Last time I tried ktp5 from there, I could create jabber and kde-talk accounts, but facebook did not work for me. Perhaps it will be fine when the final 15.04 will be released.

And: thanks for your kind and amazingly fast replys
