keyboard shortcuts like windows?

Hi all…

I have been trying to set up some keyboard shortcuts like
win+m => minimise all
win-> kde menu

can u guys help me with it.

You need to tell us if you are using kde3 - kde4 - gnome?

am able to do for minimise all.
but mapping the kde menu with windows key is kind of tricky.

if i try to map i get win+ as option so that i need to key in another key, which is kind of bugging. Is tere anyways i can use only windows key to launch menu as we do in windows

I really can’t comment about windows and I would have no desire to be like windows. By the windows key - you mean that key with the windows logo on?

I suggest you just try some como’s

or

see the Current Scheme with the radio button
the drop box gives an option for Windows Scheme with win key

am using windows scheme with win key only for enabling the options… it doesnt help for enabling the kde menu anyways… :frowning:

single key work replaced with a combo is kind of difficult… any other way?
