Keyboard/Mouse won't work during install

When it boots into the usb drive to let me choose what to do my keyboard works just fine. When I select install and it finally loads up to let me choose, my keyboard no longer works.

My keyboard is a Corsair K95, the mouse is a Logitech G903.

Try using different USB ports.
Try using USB2 ports if currently using USB3 ports, or vice versa.
Try unplugging and replugging the devices after the problem manifests.
If that’s no help, enable ehci hand-off in the BIOS.
If that’s no help, try other devices.

Unfortunately, none of that worked and I don’t have another keyboard or mouse to use.

Don’t you know anyone you could borrow from for a few hours? Thrift stores have them for a dollar or two.

Also try in BIOS:
toggle xhci hand-off
toggle port 60/64 emulation

If none of these work, try booting the installation media to text only mode.

I recently moved and live near no one I know. I’m unable to go to a thrift store atm. How do I enter text only mode for the install? I clicked your link but none of it seems related, I’m incredibly new to linux operating systems.

High up in the page, passing parameters is described. Down low, the parameter textmode=1 is explained.

Set EHCI hand-off = Enabled.

Try to upgrade BIOS.
Reset BIOS settings after upgrade.
