Using the kernel 2.6.29.rc4.xxxx runs fine in opensuse 11.1
no problems sofar

Found a new kernel parameter

put it in the param-line when grub comes up and you see

Wow that was blazing fast

Never seen this before with any linux

Now waiting for a SPEEDLOAD for kde4

and then we have a lightning fast computer

Kernel Mode Setting is also a very interesting feature that has been added to 2.6.29. Further, BTRFS nears inclusion into mainline as developmental. also there’ll be a much inproved ACPI suspen/resume support
