Hello,

In the absence of any relevant info on your sound it’s difficult to say. And our resident sound guru is off on his jollies. But you could take a look at the sound troubleshooter: SDB:AudioTroubleshooting - openSUSE
Check the obvious like channel settings in the sys tray mixer first, just in case.
As I have wrote prior to Kernel update sound was okay …
mixer is okay! still no sound
Have you searched the various forums here - there have been several posts about sound problems after the recent kernel update - you haven’t “wrote” that have you?
Even if the many other “kernel-update no sound”](http://forums.opensuse.org/search.php?searchid=1089659)topics about this don’t offer you any help, we can’t do anything unless you tell us what hardware you are running.
Can someone please tell me how to enable "Pulseaudio in YAST? I have found that some people have fixed sound problem after last kernel update by enabling Pulseaudio in YAST …
Thanks …
okay, I have managed to fix the problem … thank you all for the help on this subject …
By enabling pulseaudio? Disabling it, you mean.
