kernel panic

We’ve successfully built an embedded image for SLES 11 which works great on our IBM POS’s 4800-742 and 4800-743. The problem comes up when we image our IBM POS 4694-347. At the initial boot we get:

kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init. In our research we found some posts regarding issues with the processor in the 347 (VIA C3) which recommended a kernel that supports it. I guess my question is which kernel is that? We also saw where this may be a PNP issue so we added yast2-hardware-detection package in hopes it may solve the problem. Anyone have other options or ideas?

TIA!

You might want to look to a discussion area with more generic kernel
information - sounds like this isn’t specifically/strictly a SUSE Studio
issue.
