Kernel module intelfb

Hello. I’m using openSUSE 11.3 with an Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller. The kernel driver in use is i915, however, in another distribution of Linux, two kernel modules are loaded: i915 and intelfb. I would like to know how to load module intelfb in openSUSE 11.3 as it seems to significantly improve my video card’s responsiveness.

I did some searching last night trying to find a solution to this. I believe that I’ve come to the conclusion that the module intelfb isn’t shipped with the default kernel in 11.3, which is fine. The main reason I wanted the module loaded was to see the kcometen screen-saver in all of its glory. In 11.3 it kinda stutters with my video card. I can live with that though. The rest of the distribution is very solid on my little computer. I’ll keep watching to see if anyone has any other insights.
