I can’t use my headset without the updated kernel-firmware, also other things may not work as well.
Well, file a bugreport at http://bugzilla.novell.com/ (same username/password).
Or write a mail to the opensuse-factory mailing list. (opensuse-factory@opensuse.org)
I doubt that mentioning this here will change anything…

If you want to acquire the latest firmware, use the following commands:
sudo zyppeer install git
git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dwmw2/linux-firmware.git
You may then copy the files you want into /lib/firmware.
