Kernel downgrade ( due to usb kb/mouse freezing)

I just downgraded the kernel due to the bug described in that other thread : Keyboard & mouse freezes
Now I have 2 questions .

  • Wenn I want to reinstall the kernel sources using
zypper in kernel-desktop-devel-2.6.34-12.3.x86_64

zypper insists to install 23 packages (!), i.e a bunch of kernels I don’t need (and don’t want).

If I use:

zypper in kernel-desktop-devel

it installs kernel-desktop-devel- and kernel-source- (asking before but … without showing the version number in advance).
I don’t know what to do at this point. I was hoping to reinstall 2.6.34-12.3 sources and headers (shouldn’t have deinstalled them, my own fault.)

  • How do I blacklist that update, as I have to update other machines from CLI ?

Might be easier to do in Yast
