kernel dislikes my wifi card

updated last night, wireless card stopped working

rolling back to 20210626 did NOT fix the problem by itself

rebooting and rolling back the kernel DID make the card functional again

You need a seperate kmp for your wifi.

Best is to disable secure boot in Bios/UEFI and install:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Sauerland:/hardware/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/x86_64/rtl8821cu-kmp-default-20210627_k5.12.13_1-2.2.x86_64.rpm

i can confirm for the last few snapshots, everything has been working just fine
