Kernel 4.14.1 bug on Apollo Lake CPU N3450

Hello! Yesterday I updated my Tumbleweed server on Intel Celeron N3450 (Apollo Lake) CPU, and the kernel updated from 4.13.12 to 4.14.1.

After that I got lots of kernel errors in the log like:

Nov 29 16:31:04 voyo kernel: INFO: rcu_preempt detected expedited stalls on CPUs/tasks: { P1698 } 15397 jiffies s: 145 root: 0x0/T
Nov 29 16:31:04 voyo kernel: blocking rcu_node structures:
Nov 29 16:31:23 voyo sshd[2471]: pam_systemd(sshd:session): Failed to create session: Connection timed out

and often hang ups with 100% CPU load. The server even could not reboot normally, it hanged on boot.

I reverted to the previous kernel 4.13.12 and the problem disappeared.

I don’t know where to report this kernel bug.

As this is a kernel belonging to the Tmbleweed snapshot, I would start with openSUSE: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports
