Got notified of a new kernel update today. It won’t update because of this error:
PackageKit Error dep-resolution-failed: uvcvideo-kmp-default-r260_126.96.36.199_9.1-1.2.x86_64 requires kernel(default:arch_x86_kernel) = f90a87e7f08a5b2f, but this requirement cannot be provided.
Any ideas on how to approach this?
Based on some of the other comments in the forum, you might want to hold off on updating. Seems to have caused issues for some people. I got a couple dependency errors as well, so I’m just not going to upgrade at this point. Not worth screwing up my installation
I think I’m with you on this one Musmanno.
The uvcvideo driver is already included in the kernel RPM itself, no need for a seperate KMP RPM.
Just deinstall uvcvideo-kmp-default and apply the update.
