Kernal upgrade gone bad (I hate yast)

Last night, a kernal upgrade showed available when I checked online updates in YAST.

I told YAST to do the upgrade and went to bed.

This morning re-checked online update and saw a dependency issue on the kernal so I re-ran the upgrade. I just got the following back:

Cannot access installation media
SUSE-Linux-10.2-Updates CD 0.
Check that the server is accessible.

URL.
Index of /pub/suse/update/10.2

Curl error for ‘http://suse.mirrors.tds.net/pub/suse/update/10.2/rpm/x86_64/kernel-default-2.6.18.8-0.13.x86_64.rpm’: Error code: Unrecognized error Error message: transfer closed with 9122584 bytes remaining to read

I installed this with a DVD, not CD, but the mention of a URL, seems to indicate it is not trying to read a CD as the first part of the error states. I’m confused, and afraid to reboot as I have no idea what will happen with this conflict.

Hi
Try a different mirror, I’ve found that one to be a bit flakey lately.
If you look at the x86_64 directory there is nothing there…
