I used to keep a back level kernel on all my systems along with the latest upgraded kernel. How is that done using Yast/zypper? I don’t see an option to keep the older version.

Thank for the reply. I set zypp.conf to multiversion = kernel-desktop, and I’ll give it a try next time up do an update.
It would be nice if an clickable option were available in the Yast client to do that.
It would be nice,I feel it would be nice if SUSE did this as its standard kernel upgrade.
Apparently, it will be included in 11.3, but it is not turned on by default in 11.2 because it is experimental. Since it does not limit the number of kernels it keeps, it could cause problems, so they are still working on it. Once complete, it should be turned on by default. At least, that is what I understand.

Now one likes a kernel upgrade to leave them without a simple way to run there OS.(if something goes wrong).
