I have used KDRC in 10x versions of Open SuSE without problem. Having switched to 11.1, KDRC is no longer able to be used on any machines. I have enabled remote administration via Yast as well as checked that the port is to be opened in the firewall. I am not using ssh at this time. When I connect using KDRC via a particular address, say 10.1.2.123 the message received is “server not found”. If I try to telnet via the command “telnet 10.1.2.123 5900” I receive the message “connection refused”.
So, what could be the matter?
