Hi,
I try to change the login manager theme. I use kdm4 and default is the opensuse green theme. I would like to use the Oxygen one so
I start login manager System Settings and choose the theme but when I logout the login sreen is still the old one.
I use the factory kde4
Version 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080828)) “release 52.2”
up to date.
and opensuse 11.0
Any idea?
Alin
P.S.
It seems that my wallpaper got stacked to the opensuse 11.0 default one after the update of today.

See this post: http://forums.opensuse.org/applications/396110-kde-4-1-factory-update-plasma-desktop-issues.html, we all have problems with today updates.
BTW, I think you can’t change KDM themes in KDE4, it isn’t implemented yet (For me in Login Manager is everything grayed out.).

edit this in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager
Type: string
Default: SUSE
Define the theme to be used by kdm. If empty, the traditional login
window is used (which lacks some features)
DISPLAYMANAGER_KDM_THEME=“oxygen”
and fixes the problem
