Hi guys! I’m new to the SUSE family since yesterday. Everything is great but I’m facing a little problem. KDM refuses to change theming. I’ve tried through System Settings as well as through Yast is sysconfig but no luck. Any help appreciated…
Have a look here: https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/install-boot-login/483791-kde-not-change-login-screen.html
It is my suggestion to keep the default login theme even as you can change everything else in KDE or GNOME as you desire. But each user to their own I guess.
Thank You,
Wow, that was fast! Thanks for your help, that did the trick. I’ve been wanted to “convert” to Suse for so long but I couldn’t get along with the font configuration. Since I solved that yesterday, I’m happy to be a member of the family.
And by all means, welcome to the openSUSE forum! If you would like something to keep you busy and leaning, have a look at the following blog: openSUSE 12.2 Bash Script Download Bonanza! with Bash Script Loader - Blogs - openSUSE Forums
Thank You,
SUSE(SLED/SLES) are commercial products. Use the term “openSUSE” in these forums. This will avoid lot of confusion
