Mame has sound, so thats fine.
For LMMS, I again had to go into the setting, but after this sound in LMMS is fine.
Also tried anther noise making program, QMMP and that worked too.
So as far as I can tell removing that line is a good fix.
The file /etc/profile.d/pulseaudio.sh is maintained by the setup-pulseaudio script, so your changes get lost whenever that script is run.
And it might get run during updates, at least when the pulseaudio package is updated (maybe others too).
The latest Tumbleweed snapshot still has the âoldâ version that adds âexport SDL_AUDIODRIVER=âalsaââ though, but when the fix is in this shouldnât happen again (actually, it should remove an âexport SDL_AUDIODRIVER=xxxâ line then if it exists).
