I running Krusader in su and want to use Kate to edit files instead of the internal editor, but I get the message "KDEInit could not launch ‘/user/bin/kate’.
What config file do I edit to make sure Krusader is able to lunch this Editor or any other Editor. I was able to use this successfully in another openSuse VM. So, I can’t seem to find out why it’s not consistent. :\
I created a su menu option for kwrite, you could do the same for kate

I was looking for that…, but where do I find it?
Use the menu editor and add new item to the area you want the launcher, it doesn’t really matter where but see my screen.
Fill it in as I have, but if you want kate use: kdesu kate
etc…
Remember to save, (top left)
Ok, but where is the KDE Menu Editor? Under YaST–>? or Configure Desktop–>?
I can’t find it…
Right click the menu button:)
