I just upgraded to KDE4.3 from KDE4.2.4 and looking though the @system filter in YAST I see a few KDE3 things lying around. These were mostly likely there before the upgrade. Should I keep them or can I remove them?
kdelibs3 kdelibs3-default-style kdelibs3-doc kde3-i18n-en_GB kdebase3-nsplugin kdebase3-runtime
When you mark them dor removal in YaST, do they give dependency problems? When not, I think removal will have no repercusions.
OTOH how much disk space do they eat?
They probably don’t use much space. I just like to keep things tidy. I’ll see if trying to remove them gives any dependency problems.
Any kde3 app will force the install of these kde3 packages. If they don’t cause any problems, just leave them be.
